The Optus sub-brand, gomo, offers affordable mobile SIM plans with no lock-in contracts and easy online eSIM set up. It needed a fresher tone of voice to fall into line with its challenger brand spirit and create cut-through with a young at heart, transient audience.

Considering that data use for our audience would include a high percentage of social media and browsing, our strategy concentrated on social channels and digital display. And with such great value plans, gomo customers can scroll till their thumbs bleed. Emoji inspired graphics were also applied to give the offer a big thumbs up.
